Why cant i download mods through forge

 · Hey, sorry to be a bother, but I've downloaded forge about 6 times now. Each time I download it and go through the procedures, it says that it's been successfully downloaded to Minecraft. Good, right? So, I check bltadwin.ruaft folder (where it says it downloaded to) and nothing is there. I check everywhere, but there's nothing.  · When I download any mod or modpacks with Curseforge on Chrome, the countdown begins. When it says downloading now, it won't download. I tried clicking here if the download don't start automatically but it also won't download. I tried waiting but it still won't download. Answer: Normally you should just be able to click the download button on the right side of the page. If for some reason that's not working, there are several mod launchers you can use with your Minecraft account to automate downloading and installing mods and modpacks. Here are their links: ATLa.

1. Check which version of Minecraft you need to use the mod. Normally this will be listed in the mod's description. 2. Head here and download the version of Forge you need.. 3. Run the file and. To see your mod in action, download the mod file you want, and then place it in a folder created by Forge called "mods." If you can't find this folder, save your downloaded mod file anywhere else. How To Install Minecraft Forge and Download Mods If you're devoted "Minecrafter," you know that the game is unique precisely because it has so many different mods. These mods can go from practical, such as creating new items, to fun ones that are giving you an entirely new game mode.

The only official source for Forge is bltadwin.ru, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge. If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan. Im trying to install shader mods (first time doing this, just got back into mc). When I try to run the forge installer it opens only in Notepad/Internet Explorer and just opens code. I previously didn't have Java installed but have redone the whole process and the same happens. I tried to download pixelmon and it also froze at 42% but eventually got past it, so it's possible that whatever is being loaded up at 42% is too difficult for your computer. so try to download a simple mod so you can figure out if it's a download thing or an issue with big modpacks being hard on your computer.
